Bamboo Chopper!

I wanted to get a parang like chopper to chop the edges of the bamboo to get it into a diagonal shape so that it will be easier to push it into the ground.... I used one when I was in Japan.... I couldn't find it in Far East Flora.... A friend suggested something similar and I chanced upon it yesterday.

Now I hope it will be easier to chop my bamboos too.... I am thinking of building up a bed box using chopped bamboos.... I hope this tool will come in handy and makes it easier to do so!!
