Ground Cover

I planted 3 types into this tiny pot - fuchsia, yellow mix with orangey streaks & white. Would be beautiful if all 3 colours bloom at the same time! Can't wait!

Local Cucumber

The 1.5x big female flower produced a short and stout local cucumber for me! Not too bad! LOL

Ladyfingers Plant - Huge!

This ladyfingers plant is HUGE! However, the flower buds keep dropping off so far!

Beautiful Guava Blooms

There are 2 buds on the same branch. Think I will have to sacrifice 1 of them later!

Chiku

My chiku is FINALLY producing 2 fruits for me after MONTHS of lull..... It used to very pretty productive but of late, it is no longer as such... weather change? Hmmm..... anyway, glad that it is back in action! Hopefully this time round, they will not be stolen again!

Vegetables

Another week and I can start to harvest! Fast right? :-)

Kaffir Lime Leaves

Found a new use for the kaffir lime leaves, other than for cooking! I use them for my foot bath before I sleep! Wow the smell is just so intoxicating! One of the benefits of kaffir lime leaves is the aroma helps to elicit positive emotions! *super love the smell - very invigorating* ... Now the kaffir lime tree will go botak sooner as I have been recommending to family and friends! LOL

Guava Blooms

One of them is cracking up! Can't wait to see its blooms again... it is simply sooooo pretty!

Mulberry Fruits

Yup, another round of ripening... The protector should helps!

Small Lime

Finally I spotted some small lime developing! Yoohoo... I can use them for cooking! Pesticide free!

Rosemary

Moved 2 of my almost dying pots of rosemary from my balcony to the garden - repot into a single bigger pot. These 2 are stem cut from the mother which I had bought from the nursery - the mother died! Glad I managed to save some cutting....
This is not a direct sun spot! Glad that it is doing pretty well after a couple of days... some new growth spotted...
Hoping it will bush out so that I can make more cuttings out of it!

Green Chinese Spinach

I don't have good experience in growing chinese spinach in containers.. unlike the other vegetables.. trying my luck again with 2 batches in containers now... praying for the best!

Vegetable Seedlings

Mostly doing well....

Cucumber - Female Flower

Chanced upon a super big female flower yesterday.... at least 1.5 times bigger than the usual ones!
Grew another new batch of cucumbers to replace the dying ones!

Lemon Basil

My 2 big bushes of lemon basil!!
The little ones are all doing well... so many of them.. I gotta move them to my other plots and pots!

Cherry Tomato - Blossoms

Finally my scrawny looking cherry tomato plant is producing blossoms! Can't wait to have some cherry tomatoes!

Cai Xin Harvest

Harvested some cai xin for lunch! This batch taste good - not fibrous!

Vegetable Seedlings

Went to Farm 85 to buy soil and just couldn't resist buying the vegetable seedlings!! The good news is that now they allow sale of 50 seedlings for each type instead of 100! So, I bought 50 each of Xiao Bai Cai, Cai Xin and 'Popo' Cai (like some mustard type of vegetable!)...LOL... In 2-3 weeks, I will have alot of vegetables to share around!

Bittergourd

Harvested a palm sized bittergourd for my juicing! The size is just right!

Cocopeat

Bought this pack of cocopeat for RM4.95... cheap right? I put this right at the bottom of my pot or styrofoam box to promote drainage. I understand cocopeat has some minerals that are good for plant growth too! Shall see!

Guava

My tiny guava shrub is going to flower again! Woohoo....

Aphids

Aphids invading this plot of basils! Argh...

Unknown Edible

I think this is an edible plant grown by my neighbour. The flower is so beautiful!

Blue Pea Butterfly

My biggest haul so far!
The first 2 that I tried drying - hmmm... they really shrink until its original identity is really totally unrecognisable!! After I am back from my trip, I will try to see if I can get any colour out of the dried ones!

Winged Bean

A long lost friend!! LOL..... finally the plant producing some winged bean for me after months!

Bittergourd

My garden grown bittergourd is always only palm sized! Guess too many plants (weeds including!!) competing for nutrients!!

Ba Long Long

My ba long long tree is SUPER productive. Producing so many fruits for me. I realised that the fruit will taste really nice if you wait till liquid oozes out of the fruit indicating somewhat that it is about time to pick. It does not taste sour at all - taste more like guava! I read online few months back that someone waited till the fruit turned totally yellow and it is even more tasty then! Wow, shall try for the next batch of fruit!

Blue Pea Butterfly

Ah... they only open for a day! LOL
I will keep the seeds produced by this flower for future use! Maybe grow another pot so that I can pick more at any time. So I picked the 2 open ones this morning to dry it for future use!
After drying, put in fridge.. apparently can last for a long time!
