Soursop

2nd trimming for my soursop! Hope to fatten up the main trunk before letting it branch out... In any case, this plot is just TOO SMALL for it to grow! Sigh

DIY Compost Bin

I have been composting kitchen garbage for months without much success. The end product is usually compost that is not broken down completely and wet and smelly!! So decided to redo my compost bin and see if this is going to make it work!
Will need to drill some holes on the small bin so that the water will drain out to the bigger container! This combination only cost me $14.60!! Cheap! The commercial compost bin will cost me at least $60! Will update on this!! Hoping for success!!

Big Chilli

Finally a decent looking big chilli!!
And, another one on the way!

Guava

Plenty of guava seedlings to give away but not many takers! Guess I will eventually discard them! so sayang
I kept 2 of them, which I think its enough as I have limited gardening space!! LOL Months ago, I bought a pot of guava from the farm and it is not doing well at all. Not much growth - wonder what nutrients it needs!

Bittergourd

Little bittergourd growing steadily.
Lotsa male flowers, which is a beautiful sight!
GCS commented that bittergourd needs chicken dung and bonemeal to grow well! So bought the following from NTUC today. Hoping that I will have more than 1 bittergourd this time round!!

Japanese Cucumber

Extending its first tendrils!! I need to build a trellis for it to climb soon!
It is currently sharing the same pot as my fig!

Cosmos!

The seeds were brought back from an eco farm in Kahang, Malaysia. Took 3 months from seeds to flowers!! Wow, such a nice colourful addition to my edible plots!

Chiku

My very productive chiku tree!! Bearing fruits for me from the first day that I brought it home till today!! My best garden buy so far!! My only gripe - the fruit is way too small!!

Curry Leave Seedling

Plenty sprouted on its own in the garden - mostly pulled away and discarded as there are just too many curry leave plants in the garden - my crazy neighbour planted so many and hardly pluck the leaves to use!! He is fetish about curry leaves!!! LOL ... Decided to keep this one for giveaway! There is another one in the garden somewhere but I couldn't locate it this morning!

Chicken Dung 'Soup'

Decided to try the chicken dung 'soup' suggested by my estate gardener and also someone which I can't recall who now!!! Oh dear, getting old! Let the chicken dung steep in some water and then used the water to water the plants - discard the remainder of the chicken dung. Of course, so sayang to throw away the remainder so decided to just throw them into my garden soil too! :-)

Winged Beans - Seeds for Posterity

I have many pods of winged beans which has grown too old to be picked so keeping all for seeds! I have at least 5-6 such pods!! Plenty of seeds to keep and giveaway!

I left a bunch of Ma Ni Cai cuttings in a can of water for about 1 week as I couldn't decide where to grow them. Surprised to find that most of them have rooted! Cute little roots!

Turnip!

Removed 1 of my turnip that wasn't growing too well! Surprised to find an odd shape turnip growing!! LOL .. looks like a spaceship!

Mango Seedling

Removed my mango seedling from the ground and repot it to a small pot for giveaway. Will offer it to the facebookers@Green Culture Group.

Little Bittergourd

Cute little bittergourd... Didn't see it forming! My record is always 1 bittergourd per vine!! Wonder how to grow many gourds in 1 vine!!
