Passion fruit

I think its the rain la.... the pollen gets washed off if there is still too much rain! Past few days were clear skies here so I guess that helps with pollination.. I see more fruits coming on...

Banana

They seem to be growing sooooo slowly... the surrounding sweet potato seems to be growing even faster!!

Winter Melon plant

Ever since the one and only winter melon, it has not been successful in producing another one!! Waited so many months already.. time to cut them off and grow some other stuff!

Sugar Peas

Transplanted all 4 sugar peas this morning... all to pots! I hope they will grow well!

Sugar Peas!

The first lot of sugar peas seeds that I sowed last year, non came up! Glad this batch came up with 4 of them when I just sowed 5 seeds! Seeds from Thailand is potent indeed! Will get more when I get there again!

Bittergourd

Harvested the first bittergourd! Will use it for juicing since it is just one!

Lemon Balm

My lemon balm came alive after a long battle with some black tiny pests that likes to infest my herbs... My sage did not make it though...

Beet

I have had many beet tops of late due to my juicing regimen. My helper decided to plonk some onto the ground... They are growing! I will not have another beet for sure but I will have seeds to grow more beets! The leaves of the beet root sure looks like Swiss Chard

Passion Flower

Decided to hand pollinate my passion flowers this morning instead of leaving them to the bees! Hardly see a bee in my garden of late? And now, it is raining cats and dogs at my place!! The pollens would have been washed off! Argh.. frustrations of a farmer - weather!

Sweet Potato Leaves

Got plenty from my neighbour... Half for my lunch today and the other half for a friend who happened to drop by!

Seeds - Turnip

Neighbour said that the turnip that she plonked to her ground did not produce another turnip at all! I suggested perhaps it is like beet. You need to grow from seeds! LOL... so she gave me some seeds that came with her plant... threw them onto the ground and see if anyone will sprout!

Passion Flower

Most of the flowers not turning into fruit..... lack of bees? too much rain? lack of some nutrients? After 1.5 years of urban farming, I am still a clueless one! LOL

Finally a decently looking lemon basil!! I missed having it in my soup!

Finally harvested all my carrots today! Big surprise! Hahaha.. they are so TINY even though the top is so luscious!

Bittergourd

This is the 1st time that I have 2 hanging bittergourd in my garden!! And to think that this plant sprouted on its own! Glad that I kept the seedling earlier on! I will use them for my juicing!

Mango

My initial 13 mango-lets became just 3 now!! Hm.... I hope these last 3 will survive to maturity!

Big Chilli

Finally my big chilli plant has flowered! Can't wait for it to fruit!

Crinkly Tomato Plant

Good to be back to my lovely garden! Almost can't recognise some of my plants as they have grown so much! This is my crinkly looking tomato plant .. wonder what nutrients it is lacking!!
