Planter Box Protector

My white radishes are doing much better when I covered up the planter box with the pest wrap from Daiso. Those others without this protector, the leaves are slowly being eaten up one by one! Argh... my constant battle with the snails & slugs and I am not sure what else!

Water Chestnut

Ewwww.... think I spotted some mozzie activity in the water! Oh nooooooooooooooo

Herbs Planter Box

This planter box has most of my herbs! From the back, Sage, Rosemary & Tarragon (all grown from stem cut). Then there are 4 tiny Sweet Basils from seeds.

Cherry Tomatoes

Huge bunch here!
The stem cut tomato plant that went to the soil is still alive & kicking! LOL... growing very slowly though

White Brinjal

Don't think it is going to get any bigger! Shall harvest my 1st white brinjal on Monday!

Sunflower Bud

Now able to see the centre of the bud!

Overweight Banana

One of my banana plant is toppling under the sheer weight of its bunch of fruits!

Harvest

One of those days with quite a decent harvest! LOL

Big Chilli

Chilli plants are hard to fathom! Their growth seems to be cyclical.... growing well, then not well then well again? Wondering why... This is currently growing well! Many big green ones hanging now!

Rosemary

The stem cut rosemary has grown enough roots to go on ground!
Next to the Sage!

Radish Seedlings

Grew a few actual leaves.... I gotta cover this with netting because it seems that something is eating them.... I think disgusting slugs! Arghh... 1 of them has gone to heaven because of that....

Sunflower Bud

Woohoo.. In a weeks' time perhaps?

White Brinjal

Loooonnger today! Of course, right! Haha
Simple pleasures of a farmer! Seeing them grow big everyday! :-))

Soy Bean - Flowers

Think they are JUST SO PRETTY!

Herb - Sage

My sage cuttings grew a lot of roots so I think they are ready for the 'real world'! LOL
Plonked them into a pot of soil that I prepared last week. Praying that they will be spared by all the pesky pests!

Big Lime - Stem Cut

Wow, amazed! It is growing offshoots! Haha....
I think I m seeing a little root coming out of the end of the stalk!
If this is successful, it would mean that I can practically grow anything via stem cut in water!!

White Brinjal

Grew half an inch longer today!

Soy Bean - Flowers

Cute little purple ones!

Lettuce

Harvested a box of lettuce - pretty old ones (meaning more fibrous! :-) and I think bitter!

Water Chestnut

They are doing really well! Putting in a drop of seaweed solution every week. Watching out for mozzie breeding every day!

Radish Seedlings

First time planting them in styrofoam box! Hopefully it will grow much better than on the ground.

White Brinjal

Wah finally! Haha.. But it is so TINY! Hope it will grow big!

Sunflower Bud

Okra

My neighbour planted these giant okra! I have never seen the flowers so HUGE before! Even the bud is HUGE! Wonder if it will produce GIANT okras!

Sweet Basil Seedlings

Gotta split this bunch to allow space to grow! But they look so cute! Like a bunch of flowers!

Kang Kong

Definitely overcrowded! :-)

Banana

Another month to go!

Harvest

2 yellow capsicum, 2 bittergourd and a fig leave (trying to dry it to make tea!)

Soy Bean

Growing very well but so far, no sight of any beans yet!

Cherry Tomatoes

1 out of the bunch of 6 has ripen. Will pick it tomorrow!
The offshoot that I rooted in water from my other unproductive cherry tomato plant ... Grounded it today... Hoping that it will grow better than the mother plant somehow!

Chia

Transplanted 4 of the chia seedlings to a pot. See how far they can grow!

Chinese Parsley - Grown From Seeds

Tumeric - Blooms

First time I can get such a close up of the blooms of the tumeric!
The flowers look like some animal's mouth with 2 teeth showing! LOL

Lemon Basil

I have too many on the ground for my plot upstairs so decided to move some downstairs to preserve its legacy! LOL

Herbs

My tarragon, sage & rosemary rooted! I think this is a cheaper way to plant herbs than buy those potted ones! At least, should they die somehow, I don't feel so sim tia! LOL
