Cucumber-To-Be

Tilted further down today and I think it has grown a tad bigger???? Cucumber female flowers stay open for 2 days I realised so it needs to be pollinated on both days too? LOL .... I hope this will give me a big fat japanese cucumber!

Kang Kong

Bought a bag of organic kang kong last week and re used the stem! Hopefully that will grow nicely!

Salad Leaves

These 2 grew on its own! Guess it's leftover seeds from the soil that I bought from the farm months ago! Going to harvest them these few days and use the trays for my rocket salad!

Rocket Salad Leaves Seedlings

Yup yup yup.. popping up! Woohoo.... will have plenty... can share with my neighbour and need to get my vege boxes ready for them!

Dying Papaya Tree

Mealy bugs! Hate them! Difficult to treat when the tree is so high up!

Big Chilli Seedlings

Plenty of them! But don't think all will survive. I am still struggling with growing big chillies!! Plus there are thieves in the garden so need to grow lots so that everyone will have some! LOL

Tumeric

Neighbour's tumeric harvest!! So much!

Okra

My 1 and only Okra plant right now in the garden. Pathetic!! LOL... sowed another lot of seeds today. Hopefully they will sprout.

Bee @ Work!

Cute!

Passiflora F

Harvested plenty today. They are SWEET!

Cucumber-To-Be

Potted Mint

My mint has adapted to this pot! Great! But they are constantly under attack from aphids! Argh...... Mint are very hardy actually. They may wither off but after a while, they will grow back again. The basils that I planted together are not doing good. Guess I will let the mint grow and cover the whole pot before I plant basils in it again to see if it helps!

Lime

My 2nd last one!! If you leave it to grow, it can really grow to as big as a lemon!! LOL...

Rocket Salad Leaves

Saw this @ NTUC the other day and bought it! Sowed today! Hopefully the seeds are viable.

Kang Kong

Aiyo... sowed hundreds of seeds and this is all that sprouted!
Either buy more seeds to sow or buy organic kang kong and plant its stem cut! Maybe the latter is faster!!

Rambutan

My 2 little rambutans are growing steadily but slowly... 1 in pot and the other on the ground. The potted one seems to be growing better leh. So strange.

Stem Cut Fig

My potted stem cut fig that I reported a few weeks ago that was bearing a tiny semblance of fruit? Well, it aborted!!! :-(((( I think it's due to the hot weather!! I was away for 4 days and it was not watered during those period lor... Sigh! Now I gotta wait again....
Moved one of the child of this mother plant to a pot after soaking in water for over a month.
I am worried about thieves now!! :-(

Guava

I have 4 growing little guavas in this tiny little shrub! Wondering why it takes so long for it to grow a few leaves!! Coming back to my point of this point - some evil hands picked 1 of the guava (not even ripe, sigh!) and then destroyed my twin ones!! Goodness me!! Why such people exist in this world?!!
I hope this 'split' does not hurt them! *Fat hope*

Bittergourd

Yup, crop rotation is true afterall!! LOL... even though my bittergourd grows well initially, in terms of producing fruit, you can see that it does not grow as well as the first!! So, after this round, no more bittergourd in this pot!

Companion Planting!

Trying this new companion planting to see if it helps my basils to grow! Mint running on the ground with basils!! I sure hope la...my basils all suffered from aphids attack which eventually killed them all! Argh

Roselle - Stem Cut!

Neighbour told me last month that Roselle can be grown via stem cutting! Tried out and it really works! This is faster than growing via seed for sure!

Harvest

Pathetic harvest every day mostly ... LOL.... sure doesn't justify the amount of effort and time that I put in daily. BUT, its the joy of it!

Fig!

I think a fig is akan datang!!! LOL ... finally! I first planted from a stem cut in July 2014! Took 8 months! Wow... not too bad!
