Soursop

Doing a-ok I think! Mulched it with passion fruit leaves so that the soil will stay nice and cool! And prevent weeds from growing too!

Basil Seedlings

This is a former basil plot - thai and lemon basils... You can see the seedlings sprouting out here and there...
A close up of one...

Spring Onion

It is always very nice to see spring onions sprouting out from the ground!! Like spring is coming! LOL
I realised that I cannot use those shallots that I had harvested to grow spring onions... somehow they don't turn out to be nice at all! Gotta use those big store bought ones then it will turn out to be really good!

Fig

Growing new extensions! *whew*

Passion Fruit - Ripe on the vine!

Dragonfruit

Doing well in the plot - growing new extension!

Winter Melon

Continues to grow - wonder when to harvest! I guess I will not be around to harvest it!! Sigh.....

Developing Passion Fruit

After seeing so many passion fruits develop, it still never fail to amaze me how a flower can turn into a fruit!!

Enzyme

Lots of enzyme for my garden! I like to spray enzyme on my plants as I THINK they help to ward off some pests!! :-)

Tiny Papayas

The tiny papayas from my neighbour's tree tasted so sweet!! Seedless some more... Delicious indeed! So, yanked off more today! Shared the loot with my other neighbor! LOL

Long Beans Green

Another batch of long bean green coming up! Good timing (somewhat) this time round!

Passion Fruit Vine

My first passion fruit vine - aiyo... I discovered the hidden vines are infected with scales too! Decided to trim off some of the branches so that it is more manageable...
See the infected vine below.... No wonder it has been shedding so much leaves of late!
I thought of a new way to kill pests or rather deter pests! I use the leaves of the Indian Borage (see below) to rub on the affected area! I think it helps because the Indian Borage smells pungent! LOL

Winter Melon

Wow, grew so much just after 1 day!

Winged Beans - Galore!

Suddenly these 2 winged bean plants are giving me a lot of winged beans of late! Wondering if it is due to the fertiliser that I used... Will put in the same type of fertiliser again to see if it happens again!

Aphids & Mountains of Ants!

They are such good companions! When you see ants, it sure spells trouble!!

Weeds!

There are plenty of weeds in my garden! The rainy season makes it worst as they will proliferate so fast that I could hardly catch up! Now the dry season is here and it is really a good time to clear them up - piling them up will help to dry up during such a season! If only I have more time and my garden will be spick and span! LOL

Capsicum

Finally moved 4 of my capsicums to the plot this morning! The white flies will be very happy as they will have new 'homes' to invade!! LOL

Papaya

My tiny papayas are finally going to ripe!! After so many months!!! But unfortunately, they are only like palm size big!!!

Ba Long Long - Shrivelled Leaves!

Why ah? Hmmmm
A ladybird resting on the stalk of the ba long long.. Cute!

Passion Flowers

Dragonfruit

Transplanted 4 of the plants from the pot to the plot - 2 red and 2 white! Hope they do well!

Dill - Blossoms!

The blossoms look similar to their spiky "leaves"!

Chive

Plants are simply so resilient!! My transplanted chives are doing well....

Passion Fruit - First Blossom

My first blossom from my other vine that was grown from seed! So now I have 3 vines that is blooming! Wow, plenty of passion fruits soon!
My 1st passion fruit vine - yesterday morning, I discovered that the lower stem area were infested with the 'scales' that had plagued my neighbour's vine! Aiyo. I had to spend some time scrapping them off!! Hopefully they don't come back!! My neigbhour's vine died because of those pests!

Corn - Glass Gem

Aiyo... the pollens are coming out but the 'furs' are nowhere in sight! Guess my corns are gone case again!

Long Beans Green

First long beans green from my new batch! Plenty of aphids though! Sigh...

Wonder when the ba long long fruits are ready for harvest?

Water Hose!

Compliments from my Bangala pal who gave me a long hose! I can use to connect to a water pipe at the washing bay so that I do not need to carry pails which is really hard work!
