Honeydew

My honeydew seedlings are growing well... the real leaves are appearing... I would need to give them some support once their tendrils appear......

I realised something about honeydews that I never knew.... There are male & female flowers... The male flowers will bloom first... The fruit will come out with the female flowers....

This is the female flower... see the fruit that comes with the flower.... interesting right? I never knew that... it seems that all melons are like this... my neighbour's watermelon is the same.....
