Cutting bamboos
Oh wow, I tried my hand at cutting bamboos as I need some to do my trellis... wanted to cut one for my neighbour too... Oh my god! they are not easy.. first, you need to separate the top part first because they get entangled with the other bamboos' foliage... so I got to make sure they are easily detachable so that I wouldn't have problems pulling down my bamboo after they are chopped! Lucky for me, my saw is sharp! If it is blunt, I don't think I can chop the bamboo so easily.... Halfway through the chopping, I realised one of the branches is infested with ants! Oh my goodness, ant nest! I am so worried that ants will drop off their nest and land on me! My body was beginning to feel itchy! Haha.. psychological effect on me...! It took me about 10mins to chop off - I chose a thin bamboo instead of the clunky ones..... hard work but good workout! I will need to chop more tomorrow!!
I miss my wood chopping during woofing... the smell of chopped wood is so nice.. the patterns on the chopped wood is really so nice too.............. Woofing was tough... I am not sure if I can go through the same thing again!! LOL
