Companion planting

Yesterday I chanced upon a website on companion planting and I read that basil can't be grown next to cucumbers!! Kua kua.... I have 1 basil plant growing next to my 5 cucumbers in the new plot!!! So I quickly remove the basil and placed it next to my chillis... Hopefully there will be peaceful co existence now... I feel bad having to uproot the basil once again!!
