Okra

I realised that those bugs behind the leaves of my okra are aphids! No wonder there are so many ants! I read that aphids produce some sweet stuff that the ants like! I had to spray water on the underside to clean up the leaves.... Majority of the plants in my new plot are affected by them and I had to do a spray on all the leaves!! Oh mind, my hands are tired after all the spray.... My neighbour told me he read that yellow ginger powder (for a second, I can't remember what is the name for it! LOL), so I put some beside the okras.... Hope that it will help to repel ants.... Also I read up more about companion planting... I gotta go buy some marigolds... Read that they are good to repel aphids!!
