Okra - Stem Cut
It works!! I took a stem cut of my neighbour's okra (she wanted to discard and make into compost) and plonked onto the ground! Voila! Tiny shoot growing!
Citronella
Citronella and lemongrass looks exactly the same. So how do you tell them apart? Well, from the stalk and the smell!! LOL... Citronella has red stalks while lemongrass has green stalks.
Chives
Was gifted with some rooted chives! Gardeners are so willing to share what they grow! I am so ever grateful!
Portulaca
Picked some beautiful portulaca while on holidays and brought them back - all colours that I do not have! Hoping to see their beautiful blooms soon! Adding to my current white, fuschia, yellow and yellow/orange variety!

Sunflower
This is the best sunflower that I have grown for this current batch. Waiting for it to seed so that I can collect more seeds to grow!

Weather
Has been raining a lot of late! One of the woes of an open urban farmer! My garden is drenched! Weeds are again growing profusely!
Cherry Tomato
Ouch! One of the branch of my cherry tomato broke!!
Fix it back by tying a rope over it! :-)
Broke maybe because it was heavily laden with cherry tomatoes!

Mango-lets
Getting bigger for the first batch... more little ones appearing! I hope all will stay and I will have at least 10 of them!!
Asparagus
50% of my asparagus stalks died! :-( Glad that a few survived and a new stalk grew! This new stalk grew a few inches overnight!! Amazing!

Misa Kuching
The purple variety of misa kuching bloomed!
The white for comparison below:
They are not called Cat's Whiskers for no reason!!

Compost Bin
Bought a home made compost bin for RM60. Cheap compared to those commercial ones that sells for over RM100+. This bin is not ideal as the water spout is way too high but for that price, I cannot 'hiam' too much! LOL ... Will try this out and see if my composting will FINALLY work this time round. I decided to add less of the watery kitchen waste! *Pray for Success*
Started my bin yesterday with a new batch of bokashi (1kg for RM9- prices increased yet again!).... :-(
Xia Gu Cao
My Xia Gu Cao leaves has been eaten up by snails!! Aiyoooo... so decided to move them to a new home, under my moringa tree to save them for myself instead!
Moringa
I chopped off the head of my moringa plant a few weeks ago and it has sprouted new shoots nicely! My neighbour's indian maid just told me today that the boiled leaves of the moringa can be used to treat fever / headache!!

Happiness is .....
For an urban farmer, happiness is simply..... seeing your tomato turn red on the vine! :-)
... seeing your flowers bloom!
Spring Onion Seedlings
My neighbour gave me her whole pack of spring onion seeds as she is not successful in sowing them. Gosh, so many sprung up as I threw the whole pack of seeds here! LOL
Starfruit
Saw that one of my starfruit is getting too tight for its 'dress'!
So decided to change its 'dress' to something more comfy.. Atlas!!! The stalk broke! Hope it is ripe enough to be eaten!! It looks yellowish so I think it should be!
