Guess What This Is!

Threw some kitchen garbage into my container of soil and something sprouted! You wouldn't guess! It looks like spring onion but it's not! Well..... It is ............. Water Chestnut!! LOL.... They can grow just with the skin! Amazing! Googled on how the water chestnut plant looks like and yes, indeed, it looks just like the spring onion! No leaves, just sprigs of the shoots! It needs to be water logged to grow well. I will try growing them and see if it will give me any water chestnut in 6-7 months!
