Rosemary Propagation

I was fussing around my potted rosemary a few days ago when I realised that the roots are actually coming out of the stem! So decided to cut around those areas and re pot some more rosemary.... all my rosemary on the ground has died! Guess they do not like the sogginess of the ground soil with the tropical kind of weather! They are afterall mediterranean plants!
