These Kailan did not grow well at all in my plot upstairs so decided to give them another chance by moving them downstairs! If still not good, then will discard all as they have been growing for about 1 month by now!!

I am waiting anxiously for the seed pods so that I can collect the seeds to grow again. Unfortunately the locusts are destroying them! Argh.

Tomato

They are going to flower soon! Wow, so fast! Great!! I hope they will bear plenty of tomatoes for me. I heard putting in baking soda will promote sweetness of tomatoes! Wonder how true that is.

Long Bean Green

Moved 4 more to the ex Cai Xin planter box!! The trellis here is underutilised. After I plant 4 more in the kailan styrofoam box, I will have 8 long bean green vines occupying the trellis!! Wow, I am imagining plenty of long bean green hanging from the trellis by end of next month!! LOL

Local Cucumber Harvest

Harvested this odd looking cucumber this morning. It will be for my dinner!! Farm to table - nothing beats that!!
