Plenty of these in the garden - growing as weeds!! But they are medicinal.. if only I know how to use them more effectively...

Kailan?

Sowed the seeds of this vegetable - Kailan I think! - before I left for my long trip! Frankly I couldn't remember what seeds it was and it sure looks like kailan!

Brinjal

My brinjal plants are slowing dying one by one! Guess I gotta grow another new batch.... There is this brinjal plant that used to be growing so well but a couple of days ago, I noticed the leaves of the plant are gone over night. I checked for signs of dropped leaves but found none!! As I was clearing the weeds around the plot and loosening the soil, I noticed an unusual thing that is green in colour and totally blends into the environment it was in! Holly Molly! It was a giant green caterpillar!! This is the biggest ever caterpillar I have ever seen in the garden!! No wonder all the leaves are gone!!! It really scared the wits out of me for the next couple of days when I was in the garden!

Papaya Fruits

My tiny little papaya fruits have been dropping off the trunk of the papaya tree! Neighbour said that its because the roots are not rooted deep enough into the soil! Really, I wonder? Hm... I sure hope not because the depth of the soil is limited in the garden!

Cleared a pot of lemongrass left by a moving-out-of-estate neighbour and used it to grow a papaya instead. See if it will grow well.

Banana

My sole remaining 2 banana plants seem to be taking a long time to grow ... some parts of the leaves are turning a bit yellowish which is worrying too... I hope they can survive...

Kiwi

My kiwi plant appearing more and more like the kiwi fruit itself - its hairy-ness & all.... So far, it doesn't appear to be a vine (like my grapevine) yet! It is more like a tree (like my fig)
