Kang Kong

Growing tall again! Kang Kongs are very easy to grow but they attract pests like white flies and tiny worms easily so need to spray enzyme water on them almost daily for prevention.

Black dots are appearing on the leaves of my sage plant! Not sure why so decided to dig up and change pot to see if it helps to get rid of them. There is nothing unusual in the soil when I dug up the pot.....

Was just informed by my neighbour that this variety of roselle is non flowering!! Argh! This is planted for the leaves - it can be used for stir fry.

Papaya Seedlings

Potted 4 papaya seedlings for a friend into poly bags! So many sprouted on its own! I have not been v successful in growing papayas! It dawned on me that perhaps papayas prefer dry feet! I must have been giving them too much water so that's why they don't grow well!!!

Pink Cloeme

Went to Johor over CNY and visited Forest City. Flowers galore!! As usual, it is a field day for me to look at beautiful flowers and pick any seeds! Haha.... I saw this pink cloeme! Managed to pick some seeds to plant! Those that I have grown earlier on are purple ones so I am happy to find pink ones now! Hopefully they will all sprout!

Purple Bulbed Flower

I got some seeds of some purple bulbed flower last month from Cameron. Sowed them immediately upon return and it actually took about 1 month for it to start sprouting! Patience paid off! I almost wanted to give up and dig up the soil for other use!

No ID yet of this flower but it is a beautiful purple ball - something similar to the flowers of chives!
