Lemon
My lemon plant seems to be stressed on the ground... yellow dots appearing on its new leaves... Hmmmm
Blue Pea Butterfly
They are such hardy plants! They don't seem to die off easily LOL... I trimmed all its leaves and stems and left only a few main stalks.. Now it is coming back alive again!
Edamame
Another new lot of edamame. Usually I rotate those plants I grow in boxes. After leafy vegetables, I will grow some beans - either short, long or edamame. So far so good!
Fish Enzyme
D7 of my fish enzyme. No funny smell and no funny insects! Whew! Another 3 more days to go and I can start using it.
Starfruit - Blooms!
Suddenly noticed the blooms of my seed-grown starfruit! So pretty! Will need to add more fertilisers tomorrow to get it going!

Melon - Female Flower
This grew from kitchen garbage. Not sure what kind of melon it is. Isn't it cute!
Don't think it was pollinated successfully as it has been raining cats and dogs for the past few days! Tried to hand pollinate but the male flowers has got no pollen? Maybe washed away by the rain! Sigh.
Tarragon
My tarragon (grown from cuttings from supermarket!) is doing SO WELL! I need to trim those stray ones and grow them separately! Haven't found a use for it yet! Shall google!

Ginseng Jawa
Got hold of some Ginseng Jawa yesterday! Scientific name - Talinum Triangulare (Tu Ren Shen). Seller said good for the throat. What I read online is good for tuberculosis & body recovery. How I use it - quick stir fry with garlic. No bitter taste at all. Other ways to use it - boil the leaves and add honey as a drink or boil it as a soup! Try it if you can lay your hands on some!
Easily grown via stem cutting!

Chye Sim Seedlings
So cute! They survived the incessant pounding of the rain yesterday!
But can still see some of them flattened!
Big Green Lime - Grafting
I think I am successful in grafting! I spotted tiny roots!
Will leave it for another month so that there will be more roots coming out to ensure stable growth on its own. Then I will graft some more!
Mulberry Jam
Gathered enough (a handful) of mulberries over the past few days to make a small jar of mulberry jam! I like its tartiness!
Fish Enzyme
Sounds weird but I am making fish enzyme! Discarded fish head and innards... mix with brown sugar in equal proportions! Shall see how my plants can benefit from this!
The kind of things farmers do for the best of their plants! LOL

Red Okra
A new batch of Red Okra.... I haven't grown red ones for ages! Was blessed by someone with seeds so decided to grow them! Cleared my sweet potato plot to grow them.
Leafy Greens
My leafy greens that was grown this year! Bayam, kang kong & rocket! If the soil is good, they will grow very fast!
Lemon
Finally planted the lemon tree to the ground! Hope it will bear its first fruits for me within 6 months!

Big Lime - Flower Bud
My big lime producing another flower bud. The last one months ago fell off without producing any fruit! Sigh.
Cherry Tomato
2nd Generation Cherry Tomato plants! I hope they are as productive as the mother!
It has started to produce blooms even though it is still quite small! *hopeful*
The mother plant producing another lot of 2nd Generation seeds for me!
Potato
My umpteen attempt at growing potato but this is the first time I am growing from a box! All of them grew from kitchen garbage. I hope I will be successful this time round!
Melon
This sprouted from kitchen garbage! The plant is small so I am not hopeful that this will yield something for me!
Mulberry
This pot of mulberry plant is blessing me with plenty of mulberries!
I have been collecting them in my fridge so that I have enough to make mulberry jam! But it is just taking too long! I hope the first batch doesn't rot before I could make them into jam!

Good To Be Back!
Have been so busy with the year end festivities that I had not much time to update my blog! It has been neglected for over a month! Glad to be back into action! Starting sowing new seeds for the new year! Hope everyone has a great gardening year ahead!
Lemon
Bought a lemon plant from Cameron Highlands for RM10.50! What a steal! Trying to adapt it to our hot and humid climate on my balcony first before I transfer to the ground.
Water Chestnut
Finally harvested my water chestnut! It is so cute! They are tiny! I tasted one of them... a little sweet! LOL... What can I expect when the pot is so small!
The pot is very root bound!
It was an interesting experiment!
Yam
Harvested one of my biggest yam! This is big indeed! Took over a year to grow to this size! Will be gifting this to my mom!
