Aloe Vera
My aloe vera are surviving under the heavy shade of the passion fruit vines and its neighbouring banana trees!
This bed is actually invaded by weeds. Took me some painstaking 30mins to clear them away! Argh. They will grow back in no time!
Papaya Tree In A Pot
Surprised that this papaya tree in a pot can bear fruit! Actually, I thought this is a female tree because the flowers have been dropping off! Lucky I didn't chop it off! The roots must have grown through the pot hole below. Otherwise, it would not have survived in such a tiny pot!
Potted Brinjal
Trying to grow brinjal in a big pot! Transplanted this brinjal from a small pot to a super big one. In order to save some soil (for now!!), I put in kitchen garbage at the bottom of the pot - it will turn into fertiliser later when it is composted. The soil will sink for sure so I will need to top up more of it later on. Hoping it will grow super well!

Chilli Padi - Pests!
This shows the traces of those small hairy caterpillars (that dangles on thin threads)...
This shows the traces of birds picking on my chilli padi!
Green Bayam
My first 2 pots of green bayam has grown so much! Now I know the tricks of growing vegetables! So far, I have harvested the top section of the green bayam leaving the bottom stem still growing - I am hoping it will continue to grow from the sides. Trying to prolong the life of my bayam!
Growing another pot of bayam as they sprouted on its own... hoping to repeat my success!

My tiny little capsicum!! It has been more than 1 year and yet, this capsicum plant has remained the same size!!
Snails Sweep!
LOL... because of the rain yesterday, I didn't have to spend much time watering my plants so I had time to do a snail sweep! They are a big no-no in my planter boxes and pots! A bagful of them! Yucks...
Harvested Fig
These are from the pot of fig in my balcony.... Have not tried any of them! But helper said nice and sweet!

Brinjal Seedling
Brinjals are hard to sprout! I sowed a whole pack of seeds and only 1 appear! They are hard to grow, I find. Big magnet for mealy bugs!
Chinese Spinach
My 2 pots of Chinese Spinach are growing well. I have been watering them with seaweed solution - topping up with new soil etc.. basically lots of TLC! LOL .. great that they are doing well.... Hope they will survive during my absence later this week!
Ground Cover
Repotted my original 2 pots of ground cover as the soil is as hard as stone! Mixed up the 2 colours and now, I have 4 pots of them! It will be a pretty sight I am sure!
Look at the close up of the yellow with orange streaks! Stunning colours!
