Rain!
Grateful for the little bit of rain everyday these days as I will be busy for the next 2 weeks and I will probably have no time to visit my garden!!

Tumeric - Blossoms!
I happened to chance upon the tumeric blossom this morning! All because of the rain! Ah.. it is a blessing afterall...
White Radish
They have grown quite a fair bit.. This is the first time I am growing on the ground.. I hope they will be better than when I grew them in the box!
Big Chilli
This lot (in my ex sweet corn plot) is doing the best so far.... I think I am seeing some flower buds...
Hope to see lots of big chilli harvests as I have alot of requests for big chillis - more than my chilli padi! Seems like most people prefer big chilli than chilli padis!
Harvest Today 18 April
What a rainy Good Friday... it hasn't rained much for past 2 days and I watered my garden... half way through, it started to rain! Urgh.... Picked up some bayam (red & green) for lunch today.
Bittergourd
My bittergourd plant has a female flower! I have attempted a few times to grow bittergourd with not much success! This current one is one that sprouted on its own... I hope to see that some fruits of labour..

Cucumber Seedlings
Compliments from my neighbour! 2 cucumber seedlings. Decided to grow in pot for a change - see if they will grow better..
Growing Mango
Along the road around my area, there are rows of mango trees! Almost all the trees are heavily laden with mangoes! What a sight!

Pea Brinjal
I picked this pea brinjal plant from the roadside!! It was growing wild.... Well, I did not know that they existed until my helper told me.. Decided to pick one and grow in the garden.. Shall see how the fruits grow! Wonder how did they ever grow wild?? The stem has plenty of spikes! Ouch....
This is now pea brinjal looks like...Apparently you can use it to cook Thai Green Curry! 1 of my favorite dish!
Raindrops on leaves
Was in a bored mood today in the garden.. Like nothing much to update!! LOL... So decided to take some 'awesome' pictures of raindrops on the leaves of the plants!

Plant ID
Wrote to ST Life with regards to the following plant... Wondering if it is a weed or an edible! It looks like a relative of the bayam family....
Papaya-lets
Finally, I got papayas to eat!! The sole producing papaya tree has died so I am glad that I have replacements!
Harvest Today 13 April
Plenty of chilli padi, a few brinjals, 1 chiku, some snake grass, a bunch of ma ni cai & a bunch of spring onion!
Passion Fruit
Has been a looooong time since I have a growing one in the garden...this is 1 of 2 that is growing now..
And I spotted at least 3-4 passion fruit seedlings growing in the garden! OMG!
Mango
Yeap, still growing! Many dropped.. I hope these few can survive.. but don't think so as the plant is still so small..

Ma Na Cai
Harvested a bunch of them for lunch today!!
Saw this accidentally as I was flipping the undersides of the leaves... like 3 stages of blossom development?? Cute!
Papaya
The papaya which I said was pregnant - more evident from today's picture. You can see a tiny blob in the centre... *thumbs up*
Unfortunately this plant is growing at a slant... and its stem is just next to my chilli padi!
Tumeric
Digged up 1 of my tumeric plant today to have a look! OMG, so tiny!!! I guess I need to fertilise them afterall!! I used them for my juicing today... they sure stained my fingers!!!
Winter Melons - Hope gone!
All gone! Sigh....Neighbour told me each vine can only produce 1 or 2 melons... Maybe that's really true and I should just kill them off now!!
